Age Limit

The age requirement differs slightly between the two batches:

Salary and Pay Structure

So when you get the base package you also get some money, which is called an allowance. This is because the government says you should get this money and it depends on what job you have and where you are working.

The government takes thirty percent of your money every month. Puts it into a special fund called the Seva Nidhi fund. The government also puts in the amount of money into this fund. After four years all the money that has been saved in this fund is given to the Agniveer. This is a lot of money, around ten lakhs and four thousand rupees. It includes the money that the government has added to the fund.

Selection Process
